Steve Gets Back In the Points at Silverstone

28/09/08 : Steven got back to point scoring ways at his 'home' race at silverstone.The local man crossing the line in 15th position. Whilst this wasn't the result Steven or the team had hoped for, it was a turn in the right direction, as Steven had gone two races without scoing a point.

In a very close qualifying, where the top 25 riders were covered by just 2 seconds, Steven performed well, out qualifying team mate Chris Martin, and claiming 13th position with a 1:29.7 lap time, just 1.2 seconds from pole position, which was world supersport lap record pace!

In the race Steven made a bad start and lost 5 places in th opening lap, finishing the first lap in 18th place. With the lap times being so close, it was very hard or Steven to claw his way back through the pack but slowly he managed to pull his way up to the groups ahead. Steven spent most of the race battling up the order with James Hillier, and the pair swapt positions on many occasions, but on the penultimate lap Steve got the better of Hillier with a 100mph+ overtake into the second corner.

On the final lap it looked like Steven might have gained another place as he realed in Supersport Cup champion Craig Fitzpatric, but with time running out, Steven crossed the line in 15th place and less than a second from 14th.

Steven said....

'I am pleased to get back into the points after a lean spell. We have had a tough few races, and this was no different! I make life hard though with my first lap. I am pleased to have gone faster than my previous best around here, and it was a world championship pace that was beeing run on track.'

'I am looking forward to the last race of the season at Brands Hatch, and I feel a lot more comfortable around there so I am hoping to end the season on a high.'

"Back On Track At Silverstone"

Sam Neate have just completed the penultimate round of this years series. Aftre a traumatic croft, the team only just made the weekend, as the bike was only finished after it's highspeed tumble at croft. Luckily it was the local round for the bedfordshire man, otherwise the team and the bike wouldn't have made the friday practice...

However the team pulled through and a last mad rush in the morning to blead the brakes, the bike was sorted and ready to ride, all that was left, was the rider to be passed fit... With a few niggling pains still in the back of his knee and shoulder Sam was able to proceed with the weekend...

First free practice saw Sam get comfortable on the bike again. After croft Sam was slightly nervous but never the less he showed his strength posting the 22nd fasted time of the session, looking good for the 16 year old. After the session lots was to be changed to the settings and the final gearing of the bike as he said there was lots more to come from the set up.

Qualifying 1 was to be on the same day, and after alot of changes it prooved that they had been the wrong changes to make, as Sam ended up well down in 38th place, but the team was still up beat and there was no doubt that sam could go faster!

After a good night's sleep it was obvious that Sam had thought about what needed to be done. So after many changed had been made to the bike and the mentality of the rider, He headed out for his second qualifying, and after a quater of the session, Sam had moved up to 17th place as he went a further 1.8 seconds faster than yesterday's qualifying, However Sam seemed to hit a bit of a block as he couldnt go any faster in that session, and unfortunately dropping to 22nd. This still being a creditable finish for the youngster.

Race Day: Sunday was to be a long day with superstcok 600 being the last race again, (17:15). After a good solid warmup Sam was confident for the race and eager to get going,. five O'Clock soon came around and the grid had formed, and a poor start from sam saw him come round on the first lap in 23rd position, but not far from where he needed to be. Sam soon settled into a good rhythem but after 5 laps lost touch of the group infront. After posting some quick consistent times it seemd that Sam must of had a few moments allowing some riders from behind to make a pass. After 14 laps of the Silverstone National Circuit sam came across the line in 18th place.

" I am pleased to be back out on a bike again, Mum & Dad have done a fantastic job of getting the bike back together and the ammount of miles covered has been finominal. Silverstone is a frustrating circuit as every year i come here i seem to hit a brick wall, however its been a good solid result on my return and i am really looking forward to brands to recindle some of that cadwell magic, I am capable of those results i just need to build it up and go for it! So roll on Brands and More Points"

"Best Finish Ever For Neate At Cadwell Park"

After another long haul trip to Spa Franconchamps, The team had less than a week to prepare for a very different circuit!
The Lincolnshire circuit (Cadwell Park). Is Renowned for its charecter and technical aspects which seperate the men from the boys with its fast sweeping corners and its tight twisty, narrow corners which always churns out great racing and big crowds!

Of the back of a very succesful trip to belgium Sam headed to the circuit not really knowing what to expect having not done any testing at the circuit! However, by the time first free practice had finished, Sam had aquitted himself to the circuit posting the 14th fastest time! Never the less alot of work was to be done to the bike as the gearing and suspension was far away from were it needed to be!

With these changes made Sam headed out for 1st qualifying and obviously the changes had worked as Sam knocked 1.2 seconds of his time set in the morning session! Unfortunately the way the meeting was set out, it meant Sam had two qualifying sessions on two seperate days, causing a real unsettled feel to the day! After second qualifying Sam had dropped to 18th position which is close to his best qualifying of the year. However Sam complained of bad traffic and he was 0.6 of his ideal time, which would have put him 10th in the session!

Race Day: This day brought along a nice atmosphere in the camp, after a long chat with a certain Roger Burnett, Sam had some new ideas and points to try in warm up, which obviously helped as Sam knocked a further 0.3 seconds of his best qualifying time and ended up 7th!

RACE TIME: Sam sat on the grid more pumped than ever starting from 18th, he had a clear view of the first turn, and he knew exactly what he needed to do of the start, and when the lights went green, he did inch perfect coming round on the first lap 16th with a 0.5 second lead over the 17th place rider, which doubled lap by lap until lap 6 when the safety car was pulled onto the circuit, which in tern pulled everything back up tight! However when it entered the pits Sam used it to his advantage pulling a second gap over the man behind in one lap. The bedfordshire rider then went on to carve his way through the pack to eight place. A creditable finish and an all round great weekend for the team!

He Had To Say:

" I am over the moon with this weekend! I cant belive how well its gone, i think my time in belgium helped, it stored alot of self confidence in me! I dont think i have ever been so happy after a race! i just did exactly what i needed to do on the first lap and i worked the safety car well! I ran a real good race, we had the bike really good for the circuit and it abled me to ride hard, and catch the riders in front! I do think my fitness played a big part in this race as i was able to post good lap times at the end in contrast to the riders infront had dropped of! I would also like to thank Roger Burnett, he has helped me no end this weekend, the way he puts things into perspective is amazing! so thank you, Also the team has done a supreme job! Andy Walker at Teasdales Motorcycles and geoff Travell and all at Knox!

Last Lap Mistake Costs Steve Points scoring Finish

26/08/08 : A last lap mistake over the mountain part of the Cadwell circuit meant that Steven left empty handed and very dissapointed after what looked to be a very promissing weekend.

Throughout practice and qualifying Steven had been amoungst the top 10, and qualified an impressive 4th fastest in the mornings wet qualifying session.

However but a dry seoncd qualifying saw Steven drop down to 13th place, but he was still less than one second from pole position, so as per usual, it was very tight.

With confidence high after a good weekend at Knockhill Steven was confident of a good top ten finish at Cadwell.

At the start of the race Steven made a good start and was holding 10th position until a red flag brought an immediate stop to the race. This meant that the riders all reformed on the grid to a now shorter race of 14 laps.

Second time round and Steven maintained his position in the first few corners but then slipped back two places to 15th. Steven then spent the rest of the race fending off a fierce persuit of the final point which he was set to achive until he made a costly mistake at the mountain section, losing a place, and the final point.

'I am totally gutted about this result. I made a really bad mistake over the mountain and I hold my hands up to that. To be honest i expected more though. We had been very fast all weekend but come the race, I just wasn't in a position to pass anyone.'

'Luckly me and my team are going to test at Croft before we go to race there in a few weeknds time, so I am hoping we can put this behind us.'

Hello, my name is Sam Neate and welcome to my half of the site!

For the past two seasons I have been racing in the British 125cc Championship, combined with the dorna Academy cup. In 2007 I had a great season, finishing 4th in the cup and scoring regular points finishes.

For 2008 I am taking on a new challenge, in the form of the 'Junior Superstock Series'.

"Positive Weekend For Neate At Knockhill"

After last weekends succes story, the team headed to the kingdom of Fifth, for the Highland Knockhill circuit.
The team had a very busy week, ceaning the bike after snetterton and getting it ready for the knockhill round. After setting of late wednesday evening they arrived thursday mid-day. After a long gruyeling drive the team set up the awning in cold wet conditions, this was to set the tone for most of the weekend.

Knockhill being prone to bad weather was living up to expectations on thursday, but come friday morning all the bad weather had gone and it was time for Sam to go out on track. This is a track sam likes but has had some terrible luck at, in the past.

The first session went well, finishing 15th place and a closs one second of pole which was encouraging for the team!

Come Saturday the heavy rain had returned and first qalifying was in terential rain conditions that sam hadn't had to much time in but he dealt with it very well finishing the session in 18th place. However the second qualifying had dryed up but there were still damp patches round the circuit making conditions very triky for riders and crutial set up time was lost. Sam finished the session in 17th place just 0.8 of pole which so close. Sam was pleased with this as it is his best qualifying of the year to date!

Race Day: The weather had let of a little but every now and then you would get a little burst of rain making it very awkward for riders on tyre choices as it would be to dry for wets but stillto wet for drys, however Warm-up came and sam set of on dry's and in conditions much like qualifying 2 Sam set the 9th fastest time and it looked in good shape for the race!

Race time: Starting from 17th Sam saw his best opertunity yet to come away with some points however this was not to materialise. As Sam locked horns with several riders in a big group from 13th- 19th. Sam was the only Kawasaki in the group amongst five Yamahas, and after a hard fought battle with all of the riders, Sam had no answers to the questions asked, and finished the race 17th

Neate Had to Say:

" I am a little dissapointed with the out come of this weekend, I feel I was so close yet so far. It was a very frustrating race as i knew i had the pace to go faster than the group infont but the charecteristics of knockhill, makes it extremely hard to pass, I could be right on the back wheel of the rider infront through the whole of the first sector but i couldnt do anything in the last sector to get past, I was lacking some top end compared with the Yamahas which was causing some minor problems. But overall I am happy with how the weekend has gone, I have qualified and practiced well, I have raced hard and well but. I am looking forward to my race in Spa now, then will be back ready for Cadwell, once again like to say a massive thank you to everyone involved and graham english for letting me run out of his awning!"

3 hour endurance snetterton

"3 Hour Endurance Race Victory For Neate"

After a very succesful Oulton Park Sam & Team, Headed towards snetterton, the circuit that Sam had some terrible luck at earlier in the season. The team had entered the Hottrax racing club, "Moto-Grande" which are two 20-22 lap races spread over two days...However over the course of the saturday a team called GB-Moto, were short on a rider, to compete in the 3 hour endurance race which was running along side the other races... The offer swiftly came along to Sam to ride his bike for their team in the endurance race... So sam and the team were happy to help. Sam was to be competeing along side the worlds Fastest female TT competitor, Maria Costello!

Qualifying went well, Sam putting the team 3rd on the grid for the Red arm band riders, the two riders infront were Craig Fitzpatrick and Jenny Tinmouth, two very fast supersport riders. However the team were to start 5th on the grid as two 1000cc riders had gone slightly quicker than Sam!

Race time:

The race had some new aspects for Sam who had never done a le-mans start or an endurance race ever! Never the less he dealt with it supremely, and was 4th into the first turn making one place.. as the race was to go on the riding would be split dead in half with, 3 half hour stints for each rider, which worked so well, after the first stint, sam came in the pits, in 4th overall and 1st in class, which was to set the tone for the whole race. Rain started to plauge the race around the mid point, with lots of staning water and spray it brought the lap times down, However Sam and Maria kept plugging away, and at one point in the race the team were at P!, overall an a good 3 laps infront of the other 600's. with the final result being:

1st: Track Craft
2nd: GB Moto (600 cc)
3rd:Freaks Of Nature too

Sam Had to say:

Well what an eventful weekend...Came her to do one thing ended up doing something completely different.. But it has been so much fun and i have really enjoyed myself... whilst getting in some much needed and valuble track time!

It was a different experience doing the Le Mans start.. I loved every minute of it! and I wouldnt mind having another go!

I would also like to say a big thanks to the team for giving me the chance and i also owe alot of this victory to my very fast team mate Maria Costello, and I wish her all the best for her Manx adventure soon!

I'd also like to take this time to say R.I.P Craig Jones, a true riders rider.

Knockhill an Improvement for Steve & Gearlink

10/08/08 : Steve raced on to equal his best result of the season, claiming tenth place at the tight and twisty Scottish circuit. It was a positive weekend for Steven and the team, and it saw them turn around a run of difficult races.

During a wet qualifying Steven managed to gain his best qualifying result of the year so far, just missing out on a front row start with 5th place, and just 0.2 seconds adrift of pole position.

Once again, Steven looked good in the damp conditions, ending up fastest of all in the ten minute warm-up session before the race.

Weather conditions had been mixed all weekend but the weather held out for the Supersport allowing a dry race.

Starting from 5th on the grid Steve made a good start and was able to ride with the leaders in the early laps before the battle was split into two groups. As Steve made his way to the front of the second group on lap 8 he ran wide at the hairpin allowing Rob Frost to slip through.This dropped Steve to eighth.

Steve kept on fighting but as the race went on, team mate Chris Martin & Triumph rider Paul Young passed Steven as he dropped to tenth. Steven stuck to the rear wheel of the Triumph rider and the pair of them started to close in on the battle for 7th whilst pulling away from the persuing pack. However the race was to be red flagged four laps from the end because of a rain shower.

Steve said.'I am really pleased with how the weekend has gone. We have qualified very well this weekend and whilst I wasn't quite fast enough to run at the very front in the dry, we have been really competitive over most of the weekend'.

'This has been a much better race for us, and my start was also a lot better so I feel quite confident that things are on the up. I am really looking forward to Cadwell because I think our bike should work really well there'

"Points on the board for Sam"

From Brands Hatch to Oulton Park, two very similar circuits but two very different meetings!

Sam set of for Oulton Park on the wednesday night .

The team arrived in the small hours of Thursday and waited until the morning to set up.

Knowing that this weekend could be tough Sam concentrated on his own weekend, First free practice saw Sam down in 28th position, which was understandable as the class had previously visited the cheshire circuit meaning they had a slight advantage, Unfortunately the first session the bike had developed a miss fire which in tern plauged the team for the rest of the day.

1st qualifying was an improvement from the morning but Sam was still lingering just outside the top twenty but was still having trouble with the missfire. The problem was causing the bike to cut out when at a 100% throttle meaning the bike was slwoing on the faster sections of the track, Never the less 23rd was a good solid first qualifying.

Saturday: with a race today it was vital that Sam didnt make any mistakes as there wasnt much time between the qualifying and the race, however a good time was vital also to get sam a little further up the grid. But unfortunately this wouldnt be able to happen as the track was damp so 23rd on the grid it was for Sam. Weather aside qualifying 2 brought some very strong positives, as Sam was 7th fastest in the session, and the missfire had cleared. Meaning that Sam and the bike was on a high for the race!

15:10; Race time, It wasn't long since qualifying two but the track had dried up and before we knew we were being cleared of the grid, just leaving Sam and the bike to do the buissness. Obviously the weekend down at Brands Hatch had paid of for Sam as he got a great start coming round on the first lap still in 23rd which compared with his usual is good! After 3-4 laps Sam started to settle into a consistant rhythem, meaning he could catch the group of riders from 22nd to 16th. it took Sam a good 4 laps to carve through the 6 riders but once he had done this he started to gap and pull away from the riders behind and started to catch the 3 riders infront Jack Groves, Jonathon Lodge & Niki coates, But before he could fully catch them he had crossed the line in 15th place 1.2 seconds behing NIki Coates. The Team were ecstatic with scoring their first points of the season!

Sam Had To Say:

" This weekend has exceeded my expectations, Scoring points i thought was a little out of reach after my qualifying but i kept trying and it pulled of so i am very pleased. We have worked hard this weekend to try and fix the engine, but what we thought was terminal damage, it was just dirt in the fuel pump caused by dirty fuel! However, The weekend hasgone well for everyone, and i am very pleased to be on the points board! just like to say a big thank you to all that have helped: Mum & Dad, Big Brother, Nick Morgan & MSS, Geoff Travell, AndyWalker at Teasdale Motorcycles, Roger Burnett, & Gearlink Kawasaki!"

Steve Claims 14th position after poor start

20/07/08 : As the season goes past the half way point Steven adds two more points to his tally at Oulton Park, however a bad start and poor opening lap leaves Steven wondering what might have been.....

Steven's weekend started positively when he obtained a provisional front row grid slot in the wet qualifying session, but then slipped back to 15th in the dry session in the afternoon. 1.5 seconds was all that separated the top 15 riders and whilst Steven was a little disappointed with his final qualifying position he was looking forward to a close race the following day.

The weather had been very unpredictable all weekend and the theme continued in Sundays morning warm up, when just as the riders left pit lane, there was a short shower.

Luckily the weather held out for the race, and Steven was confident that come rain or shine he would be able to pull off a good result.

But as has been his week point all season, Neate struggled to get a good start and lost vital positions and time in the opening laps.

A strong fight back saw Steven re-pass TT winner John McGinnis and close down a three second gap to the battle for 9th place. Steven fought amongst the gaggle of riders but in closing up the three second gap Steve had pushed his tyres and in the closing stages struggled with front end grip. This meant that Steve crossed the line in 14th position.

Steve commented on the race, saying....

'I have a habit of making life difficult for myself! I am really struggling with getting my starts sorted and it's costing me a lot of time. Once again, I have shown good pace but I just didn't get the result I wanted. It's frustrating because I know I should be finishing higher up the order. I will be putting in 110% to try and improve the recent run of form'.

Steven's Next race will take place at Knockhill on the 1st 2nd and 3rd of August.

"Club Meeting Proves Beneficial For Sam"

Bedfordshire teenager Sam Neate took part in a New Era Superclub meeting last weekend. This race weekend was put to good use as Sam got to concentrate on some weak areas, which he has been struggling with in his usual British championship meets. The meeting took place at the Kent circuit of Brands Hatch (indy). This is a circuit that Sam really likes and has previously ridden well on.

With two days of racing and practice this would give Sam enough track time to make some changes and also get a set up for the BSB Double header race at the end of the year.

This would also be a great chance to get back on the bike before oulton park and since his big of at Snetterton with Joe Ackroyd. It was also a chance to get the bike back to how he feels comfortable with Oulton Park BSB just round the corner.

Neate's Words:

I am very pleased to have done this meeting this weekend, as I feel I have improved on some weak areas of my riding. for example I got 4 good starts and made up atleast 3 places on each start, which will hopefully propel me to better starts at BSB. I also achieved a great race in wet weather conditions, as I have only ever ridden in the wet once before on the 600's I was abit green but I came out the other side with a respectable 5th position. as well as a 3rd, and 2 fourths.

All in all its been a great beneficial weekend for me and the bike is back to how it should be...Great, we have a reasonable setting for the end of the year here so I cant wait... I also can't wait for Oulton park one of my favourite circuits in the country, unfortunately its a Saturday race making it very tightly squeezed but never the less we should be ok!

Unfortunate Luck For Neate

"UNFORTUNATE LUCK FOR NEATE"

Sam Neate had his second race of his late starting season last weekend. The race took place at the Norfolk circuit of Snetterton. The circuit is one of the fastest in the country with over two thirds of the circuit, is straights, 62% of the lap is at 100% throttle, making it very fast, and favourable to the fast, light bikes.

Sam, headed to setter on the back of a great ride at Donington, and felt he had something to prove! He sat provisionally on 15th spot on the grid for Sundays race! However, come Saturday Sam had dropped 12 places but had gone 0.5 seconds quicker, again proving that this class is so close! never the less, Sam had qualified and was firmly on the grid with a creditable lap time of: 1.11.9, faster than he had ever been round the Norfolk circuit.

Come Sunday Sam had fire in his belly, he headed out the front of warm up and amazingly went quicker again than qualifying by another .3 of a second, to an 1.11.6, leaving him 6th in warm up and in good shape for the race!

TIME: Sam lined up on the grid in 26th place due to Christian iddon injuring himself. After two warm up the race was under way! Unfortunately Sam dropped two places on the first lap, pushing himself into 28th but with the will and determination that Sam possesses, he clawed his way up passing fellow Bedfordshire rider, Ollie Linsdell, to 20th place right behind fellow rider and best friend Joe Ackroyd, until lap 10, when Joe Highsided his triumph on the exit of Richies corner, leaving Sam with no where to go except over the yellow triumph, causing a major crash, and unfortunately stopping the race out right!

Neate's Words:

" Its a terrible shame to finish the weekend this way, I feel like I have had a brick dropped on my head allot of times. but never the less the weekend has been an outstanding effort and performance by the team, we have pulled together to show what sort of threat we can be! I feel I had the pace to run inside the top ten, but it wasn't to be this weekend, my time will come! I would just like to give a massive thanks to the Medical staff, Marshals, Mechanics, Family and Sponsors" and I would like to apologise to Joe and john for being so inconsiderate and riding into there bike!"

Steve Forced To Start From Pits After Tyre Confusion

29/06/08 : Having qualified in his best position of the year so far, Steve was forced to start the race from pit lane but still managed a fantastic ride to produce a point and claim 15th place.

In the build up to the race there was an air of anticipation within the team as their thoughts turned to what the outcome might be. But just as the riders took their positions on the grid a heavy shower of rain halted the start procedure.

After a lengthy delay the teams were given 10 minutes to change tyres. Unfortunately there seemed to be some confusion and although Steven asked for a wet tyre to be put in the back of his bike, it was an intermediate tyre that was put in. With no time remaining, Steven was forced to start the warm-up on the wrong tyre.

During the warm-up lap, Steve opted to return to the pit garage for a swift change to full wets and set off from pit lane to try and play catch-up.

He chipped away at the riders some distance ahead and eventually caught and passed them until he reached 14th place on the final lap. But as he went to negotiate Edwina’s chicane the blue flag was waved at him warning of approaching riders about to pass him.

Realising he would affect the outcome of the race he opted to run down the escape road and let the front runners safely through on their way to the chequered flag. Unfortunately this allowed Walker to overtake and demote Steven to 15th position where he remained until the finish line.

'Obviously I feel pretty gutted with how things have gone today. It was a pressure situation on the grid and the wrong decision was made, which ultimately cost me a chance of a result today. Having said that, I did manage to score a point and I went as fast as the group for 6th.'

'Qualifying was certainly an improvement for us and I claimed my best position of the year, it was just disappointing that I wasn't able to take my 8th position on the grid'.

The next outing is at Oulton Park on the 18th/19th/20th of July.

Red Flag Race Means No Points For Steve

15/06/08 : Steven's charge for points was brought to a premature end after a another rider crashed on lap 14 of 18 caused the red flag to be displayed and the race declared a result, with Steven claiming 17th position.

On one of the closest grids of Steven's racing career, Steve lined up in 19th position, having qualified 0.8 seconds from pole position!

A bad Start dropped Steven into the middle of the field for a hectic turn one, where Steve lost more places after being forced wide and off the track.

Steve quickly rejoined in around 28th place and from that moment on, faced an up hill struggle to slice his way through the pack. In fact Steve was making goof progress and was picking the riders off one by one until he had made his way up to 19th position. Once up to 19th position Steve had to close down a gap of 3.5 seconds which would take him up to the battle for 12th position.

In just three laps Steve closed the gap and tried to make his way through the group, however, Midge Smart highsided right in front of Steven out of the Russel's chicane, and as a result the red flag was brought out. Luckily Steven avoided the crash and Midge Smart was also unhurt.

Steven had this to say,

'It has been another frustrating race day for me, but up to that point we had been going very well. Maybe I could have improved on my qualifying had the second session been dry, but what cost me the most was my start, so I will be working on improving that area so I can make positions in the early laps, rather than have to come from behind!'

'The red flag was like a kick in the nuts though! I had done all that hard work to catch the group in front and then the crash. Obviously no one crashes on purpose and I am glad midge is okay but I couldn't feeling cheated slightly.'

Steve will be back on track at Mallory on the 27th/28th/29th June.

"Donington Prooves Good Experience For Neate "

Sam Neate took part in his first ever race on a 600 machine last weekend at 'his' first round of the National Metzeler Superstock 600, at Donington park.

This was race weekend prooved great expirence for Sam as he came through from a poor qualifying, to pass and gap, 20 riders to finish 18th from 38th on the grid!

Neate has to say:

"My first race is over with now, and i am very pleased with how it finished! I was quite dissapointed with were i qualified but after a long study of the time sheets i realised i was going well, after all i was only 2.6 seconds of pole. Soon came warm up and we made some drastic changes which changed the bike and made it feel much better, i felt in warm up that i had loads left in reserve and could find that extra bit in the race! Then came the race, i wasn't to nervous because i didnt know what to expect, i lined up on ther gird and my start wasn't great but that goes down with expirence also. On the first lap i cam round 30th, and was moving up until the red flag came out, so this meant i had it all to do again! Second time around was worse for me, i got well and truely duffed up at the first turn, but when i got into a rhythem i was picking riders of one by one, to finish up 18th. I am overjoyed with where i finishedbut i'm possibly more happy with my laptimes, knocking off a further 1.9 seconds from qualifying to do a 1.40.0 which would have put me 11th if it were on lap times, therefore showing and proving my potential.

"I now am looking forward to snetterton to get a better qaulifying and hopefully a better result"
